This page contains information about how to setup your chat users in the RawConnect Open Social Network and Userplane. Here, you will find valuable information for your new RawConnect experience.

Viewprofile:
Whether the button to allow users to view profiles is present.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network this field is "enabled" by default.

Instantcommunicator:
Whether the button to allow users to IC with other users is present.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network this field is "enabled" by default. 

Addfriend:
Whether the button to allow users to add friends is present.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network this field is "enabled" by default.  

Block:
Whether the button to allow users to block is present. 

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network this field is "disabled" by default.

Reportabuse:
 Allows users to send an abuse report with the accompanying text or AV that they are reporting. Includes a setting for the domain preferences that determines the number of lines captured, the length of the AV clips, if the AV is web accessible, or if the abuse reports are text only. There is also a new XML event reportAbuse that sends the data for the report.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network this field is "enabled" by default.

Titlebarcolor:
Hexidecimal color value for tile bars.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.

Scrolbarcolor:
Hexidecimal color value for scroll bar track.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.

Scrolltrackcolor:
Hexidecimal color value for scroll bar track.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.

Outerbackgroundcolor:
Hexidecimal color value for background that’s visible around the edges and between the main user interface areas. 

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.

Innerbackgroundcolor:
Hexidecimal color value for backgrounds of the main interface areas (roomlist, dock, etc. )

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.

Uifontcolor:
Hexidecimal color value for fonts used everywhere except the chat output area which cannot be changed.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.

Buttoncolor:
Hexidecimal color value for all buttons.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.

Leftpaneminimized:
Whether the Rooms/Users area should be minimized when the application loads.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.

Dockminimized:
Whether the Dock should be minimized when the application loads.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.


Watermark:
Full URL to image to fade out and place behind the output text

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.

Help:
Determines whether the help button will be visible. The default value is true.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network this field is "enabled" by default.


Usersessiontimeout:
Specify the number of seconds a user is allowed to be in the chat. When a timeout occurs, the user will be disconnected and their chat interface will switch to the standard error screen containing the text provided in the sessionTimeoutMessage parameter. A javascript event “Session.Timeout” will also be fired. Setting this to “-1” means infinite.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is "1000".

Userinactivitytimeout:
The number of minutes before the user will be considered inactive and timed out. This is calculated based on the last message the user sent, thus if a user is not sending messages but viewing AV streams they will be timed out. This will also cause a javascript event. To set this to infinite, the value is “-1”. This setting does not affect administrators.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is "1000".


Guestsessiontimeout:

This is calculated based on the last message the user sent, thus if a user is not sending messages but viewing AV streams they will be timed out. This will also cause a javascript event. Guestwhisperallow:
Determines whether or not a guest user is allowed to send whispers/private messages within the Webchat.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is 0.


Userwhisperallow:
Determines whether or not this user is allowed to send whispers/private messages within the Webchat.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is 1.

Usermaxdocs:
The maximum allowed AV users in the AV dock. Setting this to a number greater than 0 allows your users to view multiple AV streams at the same time. This value is capped by Userplane

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is 4.


Allowrestricterooms:
Contains the list of rooms that this user is either restricted to or restricted from. This is controlled by the allowRestricted attribute.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is "enabled".

Timeoutmessage:
The message the user will see when their session times out.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.


Inactivititimeoutmessage:
The message that the user will see when they are timed out. This will be displayed on the standard error screen.

Note: For the Rawconnect Open Social Network the default value is empty.
